We go to bed and wake again,
yet rise from sleep, still bound in chain.
We follow the herd without a sound,
their path restrains, yet we stay bound.

We trust in choice, in cause and will,
yet blame the world for every ill.
Through endless thoughts, we twist and drown,
ensnared by dreams that pull us down.

The mind is lost in highs and lows,
where fleeting fascination grows.
It grips our hearts and takes control,
a ceaseless tide that sways the soul.

But see the world as void and bare,
be mindful of the thoughts you share.
For what you hold within your sight,
will shape the path you walk in light.

'It is what it is'—let go, be free,
'So what' dissolves the false decree.
Reactions fade, the self unwinds,
and truth emerges, unconfined.

The will of Christ flows through us all,
beyond the mind’s deceptive call.
A glimpse beyond—where shackles break,
reveals the self as mere mistake.
